I'm just saying though, "we were all born naked, dumb, and speechless." Then our programming starts and depending on your age it could have been 60, 70, 50, 40 30 years ago. So, its time to upgrade our systems and teachings. What was good for our parents, if just because of the technology reason alone is no longer applicable. Guaranteed there is a new app for that. But the basic structure of doing unto others, self respect and gratitude are solid pieces of the foundation to always build off of as times change, no matter what race, color, sex or religion. I do my best everyday to help others stretch, share new things, thoughts and ideas. I hope and pray that every day I share things, when "I'm just saying" to help upgrade, tweak or improve what we think, believe and desire. Let's get uncomfortable together I hope you are getting ready to be a rainbow.
What are YOUR priorities, what little things are you letting get in YOUR way, what's in your jar of life taking up space and not letting you grow, learn and prosper. When is the last time you sat with an ole friend and shared or just listened? Are you living to work or working to live? Hmmmmm, sometimes things make you scratch your head in wonder!
Make sure all your ships are in order. If not sit and have a talk with your friend/friends to get some feed back, support, guidance or a taste of REAL TALK. Be honest with yourself on what is in front of you. Once you tap into the honesty of your position you can embrace the opportunity that it provides instead of fighting against the current.
I'm just asking though, could we all just try to resist envy, jealousy and comparing our lives to others. When life throws these curve balls at us, STOP, BREATH and ask ourselves a few questions before we start blaming others. Can we work on some techniques to deal with things better because you know how you are handling it right now just isn't working right?
When you get down and dirty with friends, mentors, co-workers, family in REAL TALK it is about seeing the opportunity that is in front of us. We cannot live in the past and only focusing on what is holding us back keeps us there. What are some easy solutions to change and create another way. It is the little changes we make that truly change our course from just ordinary to greatness.
The adversity of the past gives us lessons for the future. What didn't work can be let go and what isn't providing a benefit can be released. Make a list of your priorities:
What you want...
What you need...
What you have...
How can what you have provide you with what you need and what you want? Once you see the benefit in what you have, using it to create what you need and what you want becomes easier. This technique works for employment, family life, living arrangements and more.
When we show appreciation and gratitude for what we have, we open ourselves up to receive what the universe is offering. Let go of the control and embrace those that embrace you.
Let's talk about what you have and how you can use it to expand your opportunities by seeing the easy solutions around you, waiting to be embraced.
