I'm just sayin', open your minds to the possibility that the world is a big beautiful place with amazing people places and opportunities, as long as you keep an open mind. We really aren't so different. If you want what the universe has in store for you.... You cannot sit on the sidelines, you must get in the game of life and leave some skin. If you are in the game and come out without leaving a mark or getting scratched then get back in, because you haven't done anything yet to make yourself a MVP. “It seems to be a law of nature, inflexible and inexorable, that those who will not risk cannot win.”- John Paul Jones You can’t let people bully or attempt to intimidate you. You can’t go your whole life trying to please everyone. You can’t go through life worried about what everyone else is going to think. For what they think is none of your business. Whether it’s your hair, clothes, your race, what you have to say, how you feel, what you believe and what you have. You can’t let the judgment of others stop you from BEING YOU. Because if you do, you’re no longer you. You’re someone everyone wants you to be. Guess what, that's not your purpose on this planet. I, my friends, am almost a pro player! Elbows are scuffed, knees are scraped but I have teammates. They've come with an arsenal to back me up. Who are your teammates... your real ride or die? Because you can't do it alone. I remember in 1992 I said I wanted to do what I am currently doing today. But, I kept talking myself out of it. Who would listen to you, you dropped out of college, you had a kid at 21, you are a single mom driving a hoopte, you curse, your grammar OMG, and you are getting FAT. Besides what can you talk about, your fast food days, your young motherhood ordeals... These were the words out of my mouth. The Universe had other plans for me I just had to do all kinds of crazy(normal) things people do. Make some good and some bad choices, run a garbage and recycling center, learn about people and what they carry on their shoulders. For 20 years I lived my life and kept my dream alive, I watched, listened, learned and employed community betterment after being faced with adversity. I had to be around those real crazy people and experience the benefits of positive communication verse negative trash talk. I studied with people I didn't understand at first. You know, those who say words like ease, LOVE synergy, energy, universe, holistic LOVE, I'll help you, let's show them, did I say LOVE. Having the open mind changed my perspective about the world and about me. I am energized by the people around me that find purpose and communicate with ease to achieve their goals. I clearly recognized the positive around me and encourage those around to embrace is and let the effects ripple to your neighbor and beyond. So, my advise to you is this quote I came across. "Take control of your destiny. Believe in yourself. Ignore those who try to discourage you. Avoid negative sources, people, places, things and habits. Don’t give up and don’t give in"-Wanda Hope Carter Find your circle and do the "Dam Thang" the world needs us now more than ever!
